Excellent, Guy.

Blinded by our truth....Self deception. Certainly one of our most ruthless abusers.

Equally true and relevant, if not more so, when applied with a broad brush - at the societal level. Looking at what has transpired during the Covid years....it is like a tapestry of shadows, woven together, and projected back. Revealing our true health - as a society and a community.

Absolutely.

We are the people we get governance reflecting our self-governance.

Once this is grasped, authority becomes we we are and we won't look for it in authoritarian structures. Move towards what Corbett and Coraggio express so beautifully.

Solzhenitsyn warned us, as have so many others. Are we able to withdraw our projections enough to see with vidya, the truth of who we are?

The time of covid is our opportunity to see clearly. Or die. Fascinating times.

Thank you for writing this. I have been thinking a lot about how hard it can be to be honest with ourselves and how our emotions, either expressed or repressed effect our bodies. I am in the process of shedding more illusions, excess body weight and embracing uncomfortable truths. I can really relate to how deep our own denial and delusions sometimes are and how hard it can be to just acknowledge and be honest about what is true.

So far for me the initial pain of facing difficult truths has opened me up to feeling more fully alive and releasing the energy I was using pretending that everything is ok to heal myself. Lying to ourselves takes tremendous energy away from us, energy we could use for healing or creative projects.

Peace. 🪷

Hello, Joy! Your comment is beautiful and honest. YES!

"So far for me the initial pain of facing difficult truths has opened me up to feeling more fully alive and releasing the energy I was using pretending that everything is ok to heal myself. Lying to ourselves takes tremendous energy away from us, energy we could use for healing or creative projects."

I have with my yoga practice and meditations with Simon Borg-Olivier and Michael Stone to have seen huge recent steps in moving away from fear, anger and shame into authenticity. Very very scary stuff, because we are truly addicted to the stories of 'I', 'me', and 'mine'. Each of those stories is an actual self-death, a version-of-self death we have invested with our lives. Be kind, be gentle, be persistent and diligent. There is light, and eventually an incredible lightness of being that bubbles up like a delightful sweet smelling hotspring. Amazing stuff.

All the best, with peace, respect, love and gratitude.

Wow. I will need to reread this - you weave so much here. A lot to bite into!

"It is only when we have the courage to face things exactly as they are, without any sort of self deception or illusion, that the light will develop out of events by which the path to success may be recognised."

Love this. And thank you for your honest reflections re obesity. The depths in which we can fool ourselves - the projection such self-deceit inevitably creates... You are honing in on so many things that explain our world and also how we exit that world.

Thank you, Guy!

Hola, Kathleen. Yes, there is a lot here in a few short words and the 'odd' picture.

LoL! I'll be re-reading it too going forward for part 2. I'm not sure exactly what that will be comprised of. Another fascinating exploration. I had no idea that my kernel of an idea would go in the direction it did.

That particular quotation from the *I Ching* has hung around me for 30 years, maybe.

"You are honing in on so many things that explain our world and also how we exit that world." Gracias. That is my intention on this personal journey, a journey of meaning and 'spirit' in some mostly ineffable way. How to make the words point to the wordless?! 🙏❤️🧘🏿‍♀️❤️🙏

Thank you for reading! Namaste.

It is one of the perks of writing, isn't it? The exploration itself and its surprises.

Such good intentions, I imagine must bare good fruit. Look forward to discovering where it takes you.

For cosmic clearance in sovereign witness,

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true adorers shall adore the Father in spirit and in truth. For the Father also seeketh such to adore him. John 4.

Harken:

Let not your spirits eternal be but sword & shield, fully shod fearfully and wonderfully made, that this & every day belongs to all-fathers godsons and goddaughters both in image and likeness of, by and for eternal dominion honor for honor above all else, eternal forevermore.

Chose in action your only just sword of honor & shield of honor, binding unity of body with all walks of life seeking good will via Nature's Law & Nature's (Creator/Creative) Science of Right Reason honor for honor above all else, eternal forevermore.

As sovereign witness of the good people of united America & eternal Creation - "I do not ask Thee to take them out of the world, but to keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them in the truth; Thy word is truth. As Thou didst send me into the, I also have sent them into the world.” John 17:15.

Please forgive any syntax or grammatical errors.

Whatever course of action ye take in regards to our eternal good will pouring out all-fathers efforts espousing duties, respective to reasonable vigilance, always know honor for honor will always be thy best foundation for all solutions. 1 John 4.

Reasonableness avoids unconscionableness and doing the same thing 'voting' over and over over corporately, is either an act thereof, or worse, indicative of your will-full conscienceless dominion.

Both WEF and WHO and even thy current corporate agencies of government are terrorist organizations since the true governments ( the good people of united America) have been infiltrated.

Consider:

18 U.S. Code §2331. Definitions

(5) the term “domestic terrorism” means activities that—

(A) involve acts dangerous to human life that are a violation of the criminal laws of the United States or of any State;

(B) appear to be intended—

(i) to intimidate or coerce a civilian population;

(ii) to influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion; or

(iii) to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination, or kidnapping; and

(C) occur primarily within the territorial jurisdiction of the United States.

Why is the above stated, true?

"It is obviously correct that no one acquires a vested or protected right in violation of the Constitution by long use, even when that span of time covers our entire national existence and indeed predates it." Walz v. Tax Commission of New York Justice, 397 U.S. 664 at 678 (1970).

"One's right to life, liberty and property ... And other fundamental rights may not be submitted to vote; they depend on the outcome of no elections." West Virginia Bd. Of Ed. V. Barnett, 319 US 624, 638 (1943).

“The very purpose of a Bill of Rights was to withdraw certain subjects from the vicissitudes of political controversy, to place them beyond the reach of majorities and officials and to establish them as legal principles to be applied by the courts. One’s right to life, liberty and property, to free speech, a free press, freedom of worship and assembly, and other fundamental rights may not be submitted to vote; they depend on the outcome of no elections.”— West Virginia State Board of Education v. Barnette – 319 U.S. 623, 624, 638 (1943).

Chose in action wisely & Normal Law will reign both by Golden Rule & Castle Rule and in thy day of testing all things by divine providence and goodly spirit of wisdom, honor is thy crown of living, eternal forevermore.

Whatever you will it shall be "Living with Honor" or DEATH by DISHONOR!!! Be wise, safe and blessed...., while your coin of time remains to rightly chose in action, service in honor for honor above all else, eternally forevermore. Arthur

This, for example, is now what I have come to understand, is an example of predictive programming.

"“The very purpose of a Bill of Rights was to withdraw certain subjects from the vicissitudes of political controversy, to place them beyond the reach of majorities and officials and to establish them as legal principles to be applied by the courts. One’s right to life, liberty and property, to free speech, a free press, freedom of worship and assembly, and other fundamental rights may not be submitted to vote; they depend on the outcome of no elections.”— West Virginia State Board of Education v. Barnette – 319 U.S. 623, 624, 638 (1943)"

State something that would not require statement, under the ineffable principle of individual autonomy, in order to create exceptions. As soon as I heard that mandate injections would never be required, I knew that was a predictive programming to enact them at some time. Unfortunately I wasn't attending the deeper implications of having that being a code word that we had darkly and deeply entered the open expression of tyranny and genocide. I was busy, with yoga and work, and so let the already expansive evil flower into flagrant genocidal destruction, no different, really, than the police and army hauling the undeserving into death as described by Solzhenitsyn in The Gulag Archapeligo.

Lao Tsu stated this principle beautifully. My paraphrase: The more rules you create, the more confused and violent the people of the society become; the more you make rules to enforce peace, the more people make and use weapons, and the more the field grow fallow.

Thank you, Mr. S, for your detailed comment. I'll review it more thoroughly going forward.

People, People, People:

AGAIN...................................................!!!

Why..........:

"The 6th article of the constitution of the United States declares, that the laws made in pursuance of it, 'shall be the supreme law of the land, anything in the constitution, or laws of any state to the contrary notwithstanding.' By this declaration, the states are prohibited from passing any acts which shall be repugnant to a law of the United States." McCulloch v. Maryland, 17 U. S. 316, 361 (1819)."

Bottom-line:

"For the very idea that one man may be compelled to hold his life, or the means of living, or any material right essential to the enjoyment of life, at the mere will of another, seems to be intolerable in any country where freedom prevails, as being the essence of slavery itself." . . ."This principle of interpretation has been sanctioned by this court in Henderson v. Mayor of New York, 92 U. S. 259; Chy Luny v. Freeman, 92 U. S. 275; Ex parte Virginia, 100 U. S. 339; Neal v. Delaware, 103 U.S. 370; and Soon Hing v. Crowley, 113 U. S. 703; S. C. 5 Sup. Ct. Rep. 730." Yick Wo v. Hopkins, Sheriff, etc, 118 U.S. 356, 6 S.Ct. 1064, 30 L.Ed. 220.

Why is the above stated, true?

"It is obviously correct that no one acquires a vested or protected right in violation of the Constitution by long use, even when that span of time covers our entire national existence and indeed predates it." Walz v. Tax Commission of New York Justice, 397 U.S. 664 at 678 (1970)...

"One's right to life, liberty and property ... And other fundamental rights may not be submitted to vote; they depend on the outcome of no elections." West Virginia Bd. Of Ed. V. Barnett, 319 US 624, 638 (1943)..

What are constitutional landmarks?

Consider....., Why, these landmarks existed contractually..:

“The very purpose of a Bill of Rights was to withdraw certain subjects from the vicissitudes of political controversy, to place them beyond the reach of majorities and officials and to establish them as legal principles to be applied by the courts. One’s right to life, liberty and property, to free speech, a free press, freedom of worship and assembly, and other fundamental rights may not be submitted to vote; they depend on the outcome of no elections.”—West Virginia State Board of Education v. Barnette – 319 U.S. 623, 624, 638 (1943).

By way of example:

The Michigan Supreme Court and the Supreme Court of the United State concurred and made it perfectly clear that the term "person" does not include the "Sovereign" (emphasis - unless you as sovereign chose in action to register to VOTE!!!!, as a person NAMED) and that for a Sovereign to be bound by statute the Sovereign must be "specifically named." Will v. Michigan state Police, 105 L.Ed. 2nd 45 (1938) "Since in common usage, the term "person" does not include the Sovereign. Statutes employing the phrase are ordinarily construed to exclude it." United States v. Fox, 94 US 315.

Why do American Nationals not know these truths, rests with those who either are beguiled or purposely seek to deceive and enslave both you and by continuing public education, your Little Ones, forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For instance:

"The words "sovereign state" are cabalistic words, not understood by the disciple of liberty, who has been instructed in our constitutional schools. It is our appropriate phrase when applied to an absolute despotism. The idea of sovereign power in the government of a republic is incompatible with the existence and foundation of civil liberty and the rights of property. Gaines v. Buford, 31 Ky. (1 Dana) 481, 501.

Consider:

“The practice of law can not be licensed by any state/State. Schware v. Board of Examiners, United States Reports 353 U.S. pgs. 238, 239. In Sims v. Aherns, 271 S.W. 720 (1925), “The practice of law is an occupation of common right.” A bar card is not a license, it's a dues card and/or membership card. A Bar Association is what it is, a club...an association is not a license, it has a certificate issued though the State, the two (a license and a membership card in an association) are not the same..." (PERIOD).

Arthur

Hello Guy. Thank you so much for the work you do, expressing so beautifully, digging so deep. There is so much to unpack in this essay that I had to take some time to digest. I have found it challenging to 'wake up' so late in life. But I can't go on kicking myself with the regret of that because the true awakening won't let me do that. It constantly reminds me to let go of that sleeping past and stay in this moment. I suffered from pharmaceutical brainwashing, childhood brainwashing, and cultural brainwashing. I was morbidly obese and could not wake up. I am making progress with this weight and have fundamentally changed how and what I eat in the last 3 years. I love to read of your journey and I will read more of your posts (and poems). I love your diversity and explorations. Thank you again x

You're welcome.

Yes, waking up late is hard to do, to paraphrase the song.

Welcome to the journey, and so grateful that my words and ideas can help in some way.

Yes, all that brainwashing. Much of what I'm writing here in Substack is about undoing that through the 10 ethical principles of yoga, the yamas and the niyamas. So much 'fun'. And now an exploration of not *Buddhism*, which is largely a divergence from what Gauatama actually taught, to the study of what Gautama may have taught about mindfulness of the *BODY* as the path into spiritual compassion and its expression as joy for oneself and from that others.

I'm expanding my exploration, now, with creating 'yogic' courses and a yoga centre here in Mexico. I have had one course so far, a 3 day silence retreat with one participant. It was fantastic for me, I learned so much more of the 'deep' stuff inside and how to express my Self more truthfully. And the participant gave his experience 5 stars overall. (If ever you want to travel as part of your exploration, it would be great to meet you here in Mexico. For now I don't see myself travelling much, although that may change.)

All the best, with peace, respect, love and gratitude.

Like Kathleen, I found quite a bit that resonated with me. It occurred to me that you and I have walked at least one mile (if not more) in the same pair of shoes. I will also have to re-read this and the next installment to get my mind settled. Living in a world that generations of men with means and purpose have made is not an easy task. Just surviving is the biggest distraction, and your paraphrase of Lao Tsu is most apt.

For now, I leave you with one observation. I hope you do not think less of me, for this is just my opinion. You wrote, “Chomsky described something similar, when asked why news people lie. Paraphrased, his answer was that most people, barring sociopaths and the like, aren’t comfortable with lying.” By his own description, I must conclude that Noam Chumpsky is a sociopath. Please forgive me, I can never spell his last name as he would spell it.

Good essay, Guy. I have been behind in my reading (and everything else).

LOL! Hello, Carl, great to have you back. I certainly understand this busy-ness thing. OMG, I have been asked by the Universe to really get my ass in gear.

And my friend Mark has the same problem with the spelling Chomsky's name. So funny. And I do not in any way think less of you or feel that you need to be forgiven. He helped me to understand the media presence in my life, and for that I'm grateful. Fortunately, from perhaps childhood, I have had skepticism about giving myself wholly to another. Something about being traumatised by being a child living inside a facade of the 'heroic' family. So, I take the good, and discard the bad. It has been an interesting exploration and disocvery of clay feet. (In the most recent essay I developed an idea about power critics called 'The Chomsky Paradox' and its mate, 'The Chomsky Affect'. I think you may enjoy them.)

And I think you have a good case in your assessment of the sociopathic nature of Chomsky as 'my' freedom fighter and your epitome of ... delusion or hypocrisy. Not sure which adjective you would use, there. Anyway, his being unaware that he lies, he is comfortable with his life. Yup, sociopathic would describe that, albeit a little harshly. (I once called my mother sociopathic to my sister. Her reply is classic: 'I wouldn't disagree with you on that. On my kinder days I think of her as narcissistic.)

I wrote 'harshly' because living in the time of covid has absolutely brought forward the viable proof that our entire society is sociopathic, and that to label Chomsky is to put a face on which we can blame someone and avoid taking on personal responsibility for the society of which we are more or less active paricipants, filled with our own unconscious demons and lies hiding behind our personas. I talk about that, indirectly, in my last two posts.

Well, it is late and time for bed. The rain is falling heavily on the roof sounds wonderful tonight. The area is suffering from inadequate rainfall for an extended period and is in near drought condition. The wells in the area are mostly dry. So, to hear this level of stead rain is music to my ears. And I hope it will be big enough to help fill the wells.

Good night.

It was too late to continue last night (or was it already morning?), so, I will bend your busy ear a bit more today.

Wish I could send you some of our rain. The heat and humidity of July and August keep the thunderstorms rolling through every other day, sometimes days in a row. It has kept me locked in the samsara of mowing the lawn, and I have a lot of it to mow. Of course, September and/or October may be dry as a bone. Guess it is due to the El Nino, or La Nina. I confuse the two.

I look forward to what you have to say about the “Nome” Paradox and Chumpsky Affect. I really shouldn’t be too hard on him, because when I was younger and much more naive (way back in the stoned-age of the seventies and eighties) what little exposure I had, made me think he may be a worthy, contributing human being. But being an academician, and having to go with the changing flow, the infiltration of the system of higher education of lesser and devolving political philosophies (i.e., wokeism), I suppose he had to deal with survival as we all do. I must admit that you give a good and fair analysis of Mr. Chomsky. (Hey, 10 points for spelling!) And yes, most societies are sick to some degree. I have a book somewhere in which part of the title is Sick Societies . . .. I can not remember the author, but it was a good read. Half my books are here in Tennessee and half are in Louisiana. I wonder what state it is in? Anyway, I’ll get back to you once I have caught up. “Grass waits for no mower.”

Yes, you and my other followers are indeed of the most interesting of sorts. Love you, love them all. Fantastic how much I learn from all of you.

Thank you for you kind words regarding my Chomsky observation. How to not throw out the baby with the bathwater? LoL!

'Grass waits for no mower' for some reason brought to mind 'Leaves of Grass'. And also, a Michael Stone Buddhist-Yogic talk, called 'Buddhas on Blades of Grass'

https://podcasts.apple.com/mx/podcast/awake-in-the-world-podcast/id923427517?i=1000378241667Blades of Grass'

From Leaves of Grass

O I perceive after all so many uttering tongues,

And I perceive they do not come from the roofs of mouths for nothing.

I wish I could translate the hints about the dead young men and women,

And the hints about old men and mothers, and the offspring taken soon out of their laps.

What do you think has become of the young and old men?

And what do you think has become of the women and children?

They are alive and well somewhere,

The smallest sprout shows there is really no death,

And if ever there was it led forward life, and does not wait at the end to arrest it,

And ceas'd the moment life appear'd.

All goes onward and outward, nothing collapses,

And to die is different from what any one supposed, and luckier.

Enjoy the mow and the rain. Wind is blowing now. Beautiful clear air.
