I have found the people and energy here to be at a very deep grounded 'spiritual' level — although I'm sure most wouldn't self-describe themselves that way. And the food is truly excellent — it seems to me that the people here generally have more love and respect for the food between growing it, taking it to market and preparing it. That 'energy' comes through in the quality of its flavour and nutritional value. (And in general the baking here is off the charts excellent!)
