[on behalf of a friend who sent me a dm review, and who gave me the okay to post it.]

Hello Guy, how are you getting on? Do you have a KOFI account or a Buy me a coffee account? I'd like to send you a coffee 😀

interesting post today. I liked Sam Harris at one point many years ago then I felt my skin 'crawl' a little bit at the sound of his 'lovely' voice. When I heard that interview a couple of years ago I suddenly understood why! I do hope he has enjoyed many nice bike rides since the election although I actually imagine him scoffing a whole tub of ice cream while sobbing.

I apologise, I can be very childish!! I particularly liked this sentence of yours "His philosophy certainly sounds reasonable. Although I have come to the conclusion that fear of death is not our greatest fear: fear of being 100% personally responsible is.” Indeed!! That rings very true for me as I have examined my fear of death in depth.

😂 Best wishes from a rather grey Dorset ❤️❤️❤️

hola, friend.

i appreciate your comment '... then I felt my skin 'crawl' a little bit at the sound of his 'lovely' voice.' so my ipecac feeling isn't really that far off.

and no apology for being sharp witted. although maybe i am saying that because i am also wondering about how he is or isn't 'melting down'. trumpistan is up and running it looks like! and harris's poisoned institutions are being lanced. i am sure he is torn between horror that his institutions are being shown to be entirely gangrenous and not worth saving, and the relief of these institutions being lanced when not entirely amputated. fascinating times.

i know you found the coffee link. although it is funny you would mention the 'buy me a coffee' company because i just opened up a page there. it came about by a synchronicity encounter with a canadian who has begun writing his world bicycle travelogue there. so... with your prompt i'll add that link to my posts going forward and when i edit them.

it is great that you have had the realisation that our 'natural' fear of death is actually something that has been psyoped into us as one of the deepest mechanisms of deferring our lives to an outside authority. when we are born we aren't born with that and it takes lots of years before being force-fed 'fear of death' is 'understood' as natural. a key turning point in our obedience to authority indoctrination. fascinating stuff.

we are living the bhagavad-gita and the great apocalypse at the same time!

all the best with what is changing. everything changes! with peace, respect, love and exuberant joy.
